We recently undertook an ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices Audit to confirm that our systems are robust, procedures sound, and policies effective. They thought so and have awarded us ACC WSMP Secondary Level Accreditation.

What does this mean? We have demonstrated a high level of commitment and effective action to the health & safety of our Staff, our Contractors, our Clients and the Public. Well done Team!

The hard work continues. Teams of our expert Abseilers are lifted to the top of the large slips every day, with equipment to scale and shift scree, dirt, boulders and displaced vegetation. This enables us to work further down the slope clearing, until the various repair & rebuild teams can eventually safely start to clear the slips from the road & rail lines. The repairs are a huge operation – logistically challenging, weather dependent and with large resources required to run smoothly.
